Miss Clare, Forest School Teacher
Hello, my name is Miss Clare, and I am delighted to be the Forest School Teacher at Leyland St James' Nursery. After a complete career change, I found my true calling in outdoor learning, driven by a steadfast belief that children thrive best in the great outdoors.
I hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, but my most cherished achievement is completing my Level 3 Forest School and Teacher qualification. These qualifications have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create enriching, nature-based learning experiences for all children.
At our nursery, I plan and lead a variety of engaging activities, from toasting marshmallows to building natural spaces in our designated forest school area. My role allows me to inspire a love for nature in all children, regardless of their age or ability.
I am passionate about fostering curiosity, resilience, and a sense of wonder in the natural world. My aim is to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can explore, learn, and grow.
