Mary Wilson smallWhen I first began counselling and psychotherapy, I worked with various community groups as a generic counsellor and with Trust House. My time with Trust House was invaluable working with survivors of sexual violence and with adult survivors of sexual abuse; as well as the additional training provided by the survivor’s trust, the experience made me mature as a therapist and deepened my capacity.

After that I began to work exclusively with the Talking Therapies Centre and became a Lead Psychotherapist. In that capacity I worked with trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional neglect, relationship difficulties and the many other difficulties that people face. I did some further training and began working with couples.

Earlier this year, the talking therapies centre ceased to be due to the death of its creator Dr. Jen Pulman and I have continued to work at Galloways as a self-employed therapist.
